Hello, My name is Júlía Hermannsdóttir.

I was born in 1987 in Reykjavík, Iceland.
I moved to New York City in 2006.
I attend Parsons the New School for Design
where I am trying to learn how to draw
as well as a lot of other things that have nothing or something to do with drawing.

I like to sing and play music and am currently a member of the band Feather & Folly.

F.A.Q.

Q: How would you like me to pronounce/type your name?
A: I really don't care. The correct pronounciation is Yulia but I will also answer to Julia. Whatever you are comfortable with. Typing it with or without accents is fine either way.

Q: I am traveling to Iceland soon. Can you tell me where to go and what to do there?
A: No. I'm sorry. Try this.

Q: Why do you hate me?
A: I probably don't hate you. Sometimes when I'm concentrating or listening I make a face that makes me seem angry or annoyed when in fact I am neither. I will also probably look at you more than I will talk to you. This is just because I am shy and awkward. In the unlikely case that I actually dislike you it's probably because you did or said something that offended me.
